Crash Alert: Driver strikes deer on W Hickory Rd in Blakely
BLAKELY, NE – According to News Channel Nebraska, two people were hurt with a driver collided with a deer on W Hickory Rd near SW 61st Rd Thursday.
Alexandra Meyers, 27, was driving a Chevrolet Equinox west on Hickory Rd when she hit the deer around 8 p.m.
Emergency responders treated Meyers and her daughter at the scene of the accident. They were later taken by a private vehicle to an area hospital for evaluation.
