Crash Alert: Police investigate fatal crash in Waverly
WAVERLY, NE – According to KMTV, one person died in a two-vehicle collision at US 6 and N 162nd St Friday.
Harrison F. Miller, 18, was driving a Volkswagen Jetta east on US 6 when he crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a semi-truck head driven by John V. Tran, 47.
Rescue workers pronounced Miller dead at the scene of the accident. They also extricated Tran from the semi-truck and transported him to an area hospital in serious but stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Lancaster County Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident.
