Crash Alert: Driver fatally collides with motorcyclist near Collin Stadium
OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, a driver struck and killed a motorcyclist near S 26th St and L Street Saturday.
Lorena Lara-Diaz, 38, was driving a Chevy Silverado east on L St when she pulled out in front of a westbound Harley Davidson motorcycle ridden by Gary S. Mangiameli, 45, around 2:20 a.m.
Rescue crews transported Mangiameli to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities charged Lara-DIaz with motor vehicle homicide, refusal of a DUI test, DUI, refusal of a preliminary breath test, and failure to yield ROW.
