Crash Alert: Police arrest woman for fatal hit-and-run on US 275 in Dodge County
DODGE COUNTY, NE – Authorities have charged a woman for a fatal hit-and-run collision on US 275 near Morningside Rd on Sep 18, 2022, according to KETV.
Marisa Utterback, 30, allegedly left the scene of the accident after colliding with Yashua Martinez, 27. Construction crews discovered Martinez’s body on Sep 22, four days after he was hit.
Utterback faces charges of motor vehicle homicide, manslaughter, reckless driving, failure to render aid, leaving the scene of an accident, tampering with evidence, and other traffic violations.
Officials gave Utterback a $250,000 bond. She has paid $25,000 and is no longer in jail.
