News: 1 dead following 2-vehicle crash in South Omaha
OMAHA, NE – Omaha police are investigating a fatal crash that happened at S 96th St and I St on Friday, according to KMTV.
William Peters, 45, was driving a Ford Focus east on I St when he ran a stop sign and slammed into a Jeep Cherokee driven by Lauren Pelzer, 24, around 2:27 p.m.
Rescue crews transported Peters to an area hospital, where he died. They treated Pelzer at the scene of the accident.
The Omaha Police Department is investigating the crash.
