Crash Alert: 1 dead following fatal crash near Levi Carter Park
OMAHA, NE – A passenger died in a single-vehicle collision at Carter Lake Shore Dr W and Cornish Blvd Wednesday night, according to WOWT.
A person was driving a Ford F150 north on Carter Lake Shore Dr W when they strayed off the road and rolled over at 8:09 p.m.
Tiffany Brayman, 37, was a passenger in the pickup truck and was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
Rescue crews transported Brayman to an area hospital, where she died.
The driver is accused of fleeing the area on foot following the wreck.
Authorities believe a combination of impairment, speed, and not wearing a seatbelt contributed to Brayman’s death.
The Omaha Police Department is investigating the incident.
