Crash Alert: Suspected drunk driver collides with semi-truck on I-80 near Lincoln
LINCOLN, NE – An alleged impaired driver collided with a semi-truck on I-80 Tuesday, according to WOWT.
A 29-year-old woman was driving a BMW 330 east in the westbound lanes when she side-swiped a semi-truck driver around 11 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the woman to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and treated the semi-truck driver for minor injuries at the scene of the accident.
Troopers believe the woman was impaired at the time of the accident.
The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating the incident.
