Crash Alert: Driver fatally collides with semi-truck in Red Oak
RED OAK, NE – A driver died following a collision with a semi-truck on eastbound US 34 near Eastern Ave Sunday, according to WOWT.
Miles Russell, 68, was driving a 2019 Ford F1150 east on US 34 when he strayed into the westbound lanes and hit the driver’s side of a semi-truck around 7:58 p.m. before colliding with a road sign and crashing into a ditch.
Rescue crews transported Russell to an area hospital, where he died.
The semi-truck driver suffered minor injuries in the wreck.
