Crash Alert: Motorcyclist fatally crashes into tree on Regency Pkwy
OMAHA, NE – According to KMTV, a motorcyclist died and a passenger was hurt in a motorcycle crash near 260 Regency Pkwy Tuesday.
Hilario Chavez, 33, was riding a 2006 Yamaha YZFR motorcycle south on Regency Pkwy when he strayed off the road and collided with a tree around 2:08 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced Chavez dead at the scene and transported his passenger, Jennifer Contreras, 40, to an area hospital with a fractured arm.
Authorities believe speed was a factor in the wreck.
