Crash Alert: Accident closes up to two lanes on I-80 WB at S 84th St
OMAHA, NE — Authorities were called to a collision Friday afternoon on Interstate 80 near the Paddock Road area in southwest Omaha, according to State of Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT).
The crash happened on the westbound lanes approaching Exit 448 to South 84th Street. It was first reported by NDOT at 12:46 p.m.
Officials have not disclosed the cause of the crash, but the center westbound lane was blocked in the immediate aftermath. Motorists were instructed to avoid the scene by merging to the left or right of the lane.

Shortly before 1:00 p.m., the shoulder also became blocked, and by 1:13 p.m., two right lanes were reported closed.

At 1:50 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway, though at least one involved vehicle remained blocking the shoulder.
As of this writing, local agencies have not indicated any major injuries connected to the incident.
