Crash Alert: Man fatally crashes into utility pole in Centerville
CENTERVILLE, NE – According to WOWT, a driver died following a single-vehicle crash at 14th St and Saltillo Rd Saturday.
Alexander M. Schoneweis, 20, was driving a Chevy vehicle when he strayed off the road and crashed into a ditch before slamming into a utility pole around 8:30 p.m.
Rescue crews extricated Schoneweis from the vehicle and pronounced him dead at the scene.
Officials believe speed played a role in the crash.
