Crash Alert: Officials ID victim of fatal crash near Roberts Park
LINCOLN, NE – According to WOWT, officials have identified the man who died in a fatal 2-vehicle crash near 56th St and A St Saturday.
Alexis Carayorgopol, 29, was driving a 2011 Hyundai Genesis south on 56th St when he collided with a 2015 Kia Soul driven by Henry Holden, 35, heading west on A St around 4:10 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced Carayorgopol dead at the scene. They transported Holden to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities believe impairment played a role in the collision.
The incident is under investigation.
