Crash Alert: Police investigate fatal 3-vehicle crash on US 34 in Sarpy County
SARPY COUNTY, NE – According to WOWT, a fatal three-vehicle accident was reported on US 34 about a mile east of US 75 on Thursday.
The blue 2009 Hyundai Sonata driver was driving west on US 34 when they strayed into the eastbound lanes and collided with a white 2015 Dodge Ram pickup truck before being hit by a 2016 Freightliner semi-truck around 7:59 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced a boy in the Sonata dead at the scene and transported the Sonata’s driver and passenger to an area hospital in critical condition. The semi-truck and pickup truck drivers were not hurt in the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
