Crash Alert: Troopers investigate fatal crash on I-80 near Gibbon
GIBBON, NE – According to WOWT, one person died following a two-vehicle crash on eastbound I-80 between Exit 285 and Exit 291 Sunday.
A person driving a Pontiac Grand Prix was heading west on I-80 when they strayed over the median and slammed into an eastbound semi-truck.
Rescue crews pronounced the Grand Prix driver dead at the scene. The occupants of the semi-truck were not hurt in the crash.
Officials have not released the Grand Prix driver’s name.
