Crash Alert: Wrong-way driver fatally collides with semi-truck near Wyman Heights
OMAHA, NE – A wrong-way driver lost his life when he collided with a semi-truck on eastbound I-680 near Mormon Bridge Rd Friday, according to WOWT.
Vincent Macias, 32, was driving a Chevy Tahoe west in the eastbound lanes when he crashed head-on with a semi-truck around 2:40 a.m. The collision caused both vehicles to catch on fire.
The semi-truck driver was able to get out of the truck. Emergency crews extricated Macias from the Tahoe.
Rescue crews transported Macias to an area hospital, where he died.
