Crash Alert: 17-year-old driver dies following crash in Sarpy County
PAPILLION, NE – According to KMTV, one person died and one person was hurt in a single-vehicle collision at 168th St and Fairview Rd Monday.
A 17-year-old male was driving a Lexus ES330 east on Fairview Rd when he rolled the vehicle while attempting to turn onto northbound 168th St.
Rescue crews pronounced the driver dead at the scene and transported a 17-year-old passenger to an area hospital.
Authorities do not believe impairment was a factor in the crash.
The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office Crash Response Unit is investigating the crash.
