Crash Alert: 1 dead, 1 injured following multi-vehicle crash near UNO Campus
OMAHA, NE – A suspected wrong-way crash near UNO Friday claimed the life one person and left another seriously injured.
According to KMTV, the collision occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of North 62nd Street and Dodge Street.
Police say Mark Carlson, 61, was driving a black 2019 Mercedes at a high rate of speed west on Dodge St. when his vehicle crossed into the oncoming lanes and collided with a red 2015 Chevrolet Cruze driven by 22-year-old Anna Bosma.
Rescue crews pronounced Bosma dead at the scene and transported her passenger, 23-year-old William Story, to an area hospital.
