Crash Alert: Alleged hit-and-run driver takes plea deal for fatal crash
OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, a man charged for a hit-and-run accident near S 23rd St and Castelar St on February 17 entered a plea deal.
Miguelangel Bringshimback was driving when he struck Milagros Lopez, 23, around 3 a.m.
Rescue crews found Lopez in an alley. They performed life-saving measures on Lopez as they transported her to an area hospital, where she died.
Authorities booked Bringshimback in March for manslaughter and failure to stop and render aid. As part of a plea deal, Bringshimback pleaded no contest to leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death and motor vehicle homicide.
Bringshimback will be sentenced on November 20.
