Crash Alert: Driver fatally rear-ends asphalt truck near Oaks Park
OMAHA, NE – According to KETV, a driver died following a collision with an asphalt truck near S 126th Plaza and L St on Tuesday.
Steven Nelson, 75, was driving a Dodge Durango west on L St when he slammed into the rear of an asphalt truck around 9:15 p.m.
Rescue crews transported Nelson to CUMC-Bergan Mercy Medical Center in critical condition, where Nelson died.
The asphalt truck driver was not hurt in the crash.
The Omaha Police Department is investigating the incident.
