Crash Alert: Officials ID victim of fatal auto vs. bicycle crash in Valley
VALLEY, NE – According to WOWT, officials have released the name of the victim who was killed in a fatal auto vs. bicycle collision at N 252nd St and Rainwood Rd on Sunday.
Dr. Matthew Latacha, 47, was riding south on N 252nd St when he was rear-ended by a driver around 10:15 a.m.
Rescue crews performed lifesaving measures on Latacha before pronouncing him dead at the scene of the accident.
It is unclear if the driver will be charged with the crash.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
