Crash Alert: Man dies after train collide with combine harvester in Nemaha
NEMAHA, NE – According to KETV, one person died after a train hauling coal hit a combine harvester near S 110th St and E Apple Rd on Monday.
The train hit the combine harvester, operated by Benjamin “Mike” Scholting, 65, around 12 p.m.
Scholting died in the crash.
The incident is under investigation by the Nebraska State Patrol and the Gage County Sheriff’s Office.
