Crash Alert: Crews rescue driver who crashed into Deadmans Run
LINCOLN, NE – According to KOLN, first responders extricated a man from his SUV after he crashed into Deadmans Run near N 29th St and Cornhusker Hwy on Tuesday.
The driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer and collided with a guardrail before rolling down an embankment and landing on the vehicle’s roof in the creek.
The driver was trapped for about six hours inside the SUV until employees from a business near the crash site heard him calling for help.
Emergency crews extricated the driver and transported him to an area hospital in serious condition.
