Crash Alert: Deputies investigate deadly crash on County Rd P 51 near Calhoun

WASHINGTON COUNTY, NE – The Washington County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a deadly single-car crash that happened on County Rd P51 near Ft. Calhoun on Tuesday, according to WOWT.

The driver was heading north on County Rd P51 when he took a curve too fast and strayed off the road before crashing into a bean field around 1 a.m. The driver was ejected from the vehicle during the wreck.

Officials will ID the driver pending an autopsy.
