Crash Alert: Driver fatally collides with another vehicle near Peterson Park

LINCOLN, NE – The Lincoln Police Department is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that happened at S 20th St and Nebraska Pkwy on Monday, according to KOLN.

The driver of a white pickup truck was on westbound Nebraska Pkwy when they collided with a maroon car on 20th St that was trying to turn onto eastbound Nebraksa Pkwy around 2 p.m.

Rescue crews transported both drivers to an area hospital with critical injuries. The maroon car driver died in the hospital.

Officials have not released the names of either driver.
