Crash Alert: Police investigate fatal single-vehicle crash near Mockingbird Hills West
OMAHA, NE – The Omaha Police Department is investigating a deadly single-vehicle collision that happened at S 99th St and U St on Sunday, according to WOWT.
Alfredo Garcia Hidalgo, 30, was driving a 2020 Toyota Corolla north on U St when he strayed off the road, hit a curb, and flew before hitting a tree around 5 a.m. The Corolla then caught on fire.
Emergency crews extinguished the fire and pronounced Hidalgo dead at the scene. No one else was in the vehicle.
