Crash Alert: Train strikes, kills pedestrian in south central Omaha
OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, a train fatally collided with a male pedestrian near S 60th St and V St on Friday.
The train engineer saw Timothy Flint, 33, as he was walking on the tracks around 11:25 p.m. The engineer hit the emergency brakes, but the train did not stop in time to avoid hitting Flint.
Rescue crews pronounced Flint dead at the scene.
The Omaha Police Department is investigating the incident.
