Crash Alert: Driver dies following crash near Yankee Hill in Lincoln
LINCOLN, NE – A driver died following a wreck at US 77 and W Pioneers Blvd on Friday, according to KOLN.
Severine Bouckongou, 44, was driving a Chevrolet Cruze that had become disabled on US 77 Sb. Bouckongou had gotten out of the Cruze and was standing by it when the driver of a Honda Civic collided with the Cruze. The Cruze then caught on fire. The driver of a northbound Chevrolet Tahoe then hit Bouckongou.
Rescue crews transported Bouckongou to an area hospital, where she died. Crews also transported the two occupants of the Civic to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
