Crash Alert: Driver falls down embankment on US 75 in Bellevue
BELLEVUE, NE – According to WOWT, two people were hurt when the white Mazda 6 they were in fell down an embankment on US 75 SB near Hogantown Dr on Saturday.
The driver of the Mazda was in the right lane when she attempted to change lanes to pass a red Jeep Renegade and collided with its rear before going down an embankment and hitting multiple trees.
Rescue crews transported the Mazda 6 driver and her passenger to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. They were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The Jeep driver was not injured in the collision.
Authorities cited the Mazda driver for not wearing a seatbelt.
