Crash Alert: Driver slams into utility pole near American Legion Park
LINCOLN, NE – A 20-year-old man collided with a utility pole at S 27th St and Randolph St on Saturday, according to KOLN.
The driver hit the pole and flipped several times before coming to rest around 3:15 p.m. He then tried to flee the area on foot.
Authorities located the driver and cited him for DUI, negligent driving, minor in possession of alcohol and not possessing a driver’s license.
Rescue crews transported him to an area hospital with minor injuries.
