Crash Alert: 1 dead, 3 injured following DUI crash in Jefferson
JEFFERSON, NE – One person died, and three others were hurt when an alleged impaired driver collided with another vehicle at 168th Street and Pawnee Road on Sunday, according to WOWT.
Joshua Kuhl, 35, was driving a pickup truck north on 168th St when he failed to stop at the intersection with Pawnee Rd and collided with a westbound Subaru around 1 a.m.
Rescue crews transported Kuhl and three other people to an area hospital, where one person died.
Authorities determined Kuhl was impaired after giving him a breathalyzer test. They arrested Kuhl after he was released from the hospital and charged him with DUI, motor vehicle homicide, and two counts of DUI, resulting in serious injury.
