Crash Alert: Van driver collides with school bus in west Omaha
OMAHA, IA – According to WOWT, two people were hurt when a van struck an Omaha Public Schools bus at 50th St and Leavenworth St on Monday.
The van driver was transporting a nursing home patient to a medical appointment when they ran a red light and collided with the bus around 9 a.m.
The van driver and passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. Rescue crews transported one of them to an area hospital.
No students were on the bus.
