Crash Alert: Driver strikes, kills child near Lake James Park
OMAHA, NE – A driver fatally collided with a 4-year-old boy near Fontenelle Blvd and Wirt St on Wednesday, according to WOWT.
A person driving an SUV hit the boy as he was crossing the street with his family.
Rescue crews transported the child to an area hospital, where he died.
The driver called 911 and remained at the scene following the collision. It is unclear if they will be cited or charged for the incident.
