Crash Alert: Officials ID victim of auto vs. pedestrian crash near Miller Park
OMAHA, NE – Officials have released the name of the man who was hit by a driver on N 30th St near Vane St on Sunday, according to KETV.
Shadrach Zarwie, 26, was driving a Mercedes C300 when he collided with Damian Wilson, 31, outside a marked crosswalk around 12 a.m.
Rescue crews transported Wilson to an area hospital with a life-threatening brain bleed.
Authorities believe impairment, distracted driving, and jaywalking were factors in the crash. Charges are pending against Zarwie.
