Crash Alert: Officials ID victim of fatal crash on I-80 near Gretna
GRETNA, NE – According to WOWT, officials have released the name of the man who died following an auto accident at I-80 EB and 168th St on Tuesday.
Gary Vaughn, 64, was driving a red Dodge Ram west on I-80 when he crossed the median and collided with an eastbound black Dodge Ram around 1:45 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced Vaughn dead at the scene and transported the Dodge driver to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
