Crash Alert: 2-vehicle wreck near Seward sends 5 people to the hospital
SEWARD, NE – According to KOLN, eight people were hurt, and five people were taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision at 154th St and US 34 on Sunday.
A driver was heading north on 154th St when they collided with a westbound vehicle around 5 p.m.
Four juveniles and two dogs occupied the northbound vehicle. Two adults and two juveniles were in the other car. Rescue crews transported all eight people to an area hospital, where five of them were admitted with non-life-threatening injuries.
Crews located one of the dogs, and it was OK. The other dog is missing.
Authorities have not made any arrests. It is unclear if impairment played a role in the wreck.
The Seward County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
