Crash Alert: Hit-and-run driver collides with man on US 75 in Bellevue
BELLEVUE, NE – A hit-and-run driver struck and injured a man on US 75 NB near Childs Rd W on Monday, according to WOWT.
The driver of a maroon Jeep Cherokee hit a 32-year-old truck driver who was on the shoulder of the highway connecting a semi-truck to a grain trailer around 7 p.m.
Following the collision, the jeep driver did not stop to render aid. The wreck knocked off the jeep’s right front and right rear fender flares.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
