Crash Alert: Police arrest driver for fatal crash on I-80
OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, authorities have arrested the man they believe caused a fatal drunk driving wreck on I-80 near S 24th St on Saturday.
Maison King was allegedly driving an SUV the wrong way when he struck a sedan head-on around 1:30 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced a passenger from the sedan, Ross L. Lewis, 26, dead at the scene. They transported the sedan driver to an area hospital, where he died. They also took a passenger from King’s SUV to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
King was released from the hospital, and authorities arrested him on two counts of motor vehicle homicide and DUI.
