Crash Alert: Semi-truck driver fatally strikes another vehicle on NE 41 near Wilber
WILBER, NE – According to KOLN, a man is dead after a semi-truck driver rear-ended his vehicle on NE 41 on Monday.
A person was driving GMC Arcadia through a dust storm passing over NE 41 when he stopped on the roadway because of the conditions around 2:40 p.m. A semi-truck driver then slammed into the rear of the Arcadia.
Rescue crews transported a passenger from the Arcadia, Roger Haake, 87, to an area hospital, where he died.
The Arcadia driver sustained minor injuries. The semi-truck driver’s was not hurt in the collision.
