Crash Alert: 3 hurt following 6-vehicle crash near Walnut Grove Park

OMAHA, NE – Three people were hurt in a six-vehicle collision at S 153rd St and Q St on Saturday, according to WOWT.

The driver of a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu was heading west on Q St at high speeds when they ran a red light and collided with a southbound 2019 Dodge Journey around noon.

The collision sent both vehicles across the eastbound lanes of Q St, where they hit four other cars.

Rescue crews transported two people from the Dodge and the Chevy driver to an area hospital. The Chevy driver had severe leg fractures and other life-threatening injuries.

The Omaha Police Department is investigating the incident. Charges are pending.
