Crash Alert: Fatal ATV accident reported on 413th Rd near Beaver Crossing
SEWARD COUNTY, NE – According to KETV, a man died following an ATV crash on 413th Rd near Pioneers Rd on May 18.
Corey Smith, 46, was riding an ATV when he strayed off the road and went up an embankment. Smith then lost control of the ATV. It rolled over and pinned Smith underneath it around 9 p.m.
Rescue crews transported Smith to an area hospital, where he died.
The Seward County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. They believe impairment was a factor.
