Crash Alert: Woman dies following single-vehicle crash on I-80 in Buffalo County
BUFFALO COUNTY, NE – According to KSNB, a woman died in a single-vehicle collision on I-80 near mile marker 282 on Sunday.
Mollie Quick, 20, was driving a Kia sedan east when she lost control of the vehicle and collided with a semi-truck parked on the shoulder around 3:15 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced Quick dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver was not hurt in the collision.
Traffic was delayed while crews worked the scene.
The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating the incident.
