Crash Alert: Driver fatally collides with man in Central Omaha
OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, a driver struck and killed a man on W Dodge Rd near N 93rd St on Saturday.
A 36-year-old was driving a 2021 Chevy Silverado west on W Dodge Rd when they hit Lawrence Coleman, 43, as Coleman was crossing W Dodge St from north to south around 10:05 p.m.
Rescue crews transported Coleman to an area hospital, where he died on Sunday morning.
The pickup truck driver was not hurt in the collision.
The Omaha Police Department is investigating the incident.
