Crash Alert: Driver fatally runs over toddler at convenience store in Neola
NEOLA, IA – A driver struck and killed a toddler at the Kum & Go convenience store at 29356 298th St on Wednesday, according to WOWT.
A 67-year-old woman was driving a 2024 Chevy Equinox slowly past the gas pumps when the child ran in front of the vehicle around 2:30 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital, where they died.
The incident is under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
