Crash Alert: Hit-and-run driver fatally collides with pedestrian near Mockingbird Hills
OMAHA, NE – A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a man near S 90th St and L St on Saturday, according to WOWT.
Robert G Mummert, 56, stopped at the intersection and got off his motorcycle to clear debris from the road when a driver collided with him around 2:30 a.m.
Officers performed life-saving measures on Mummert until rescue crews arrived and pronounced Mummert dead at the scene.
The Omaha Police Department is investigating the incident. They urge anyone with information concerning the crash to contact them.
