Crash Alert: Driver collides with school bus in Bellevue
BELLEVUE, NE – According to WOWT, a teen driver hit a school bus at Harvell Dr and Galvin Rd S on Monday.
A 17-year-old girl was driving a Nissan Altima when she struck the school bus around 7:30 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the driver and her 15-year-old boy passenger to an area hospital. The boy was in critical condition.
No students were on the bus. The bus 79-year-old woman driving the bus was not hurt in the collision.
Crews closed down the intersection to process the scene.
The Bellevue Police Department is investigating the incident.
