Crash Alert: Semi-truck driver fatally collides with another truck on US 275 in Valley
VALLEY, NE – A semi-truck driver fatally collided with another semi-truck in a wrong-way collision on US 275 EB near N 276th St on Wednesday, according to WOWT.
A semi-truck driver was heading west on US 275 when they strayed into the eastbound lanes and hit an eastbound semi-truck around 4:30 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the driver of the westbound truck dead at the scene. The other driver suffered minor injuries.
Emergency crews shut down the area following the collision to clear the scene.
The Valley Police Department and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the incident.
