Crash Alert: Officials ID victim of fatal hit-and-run near Millwork Commons
OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, officials have released the name of the man who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver near Abbott Dr and Riverfront Dr on Oct. 15.
Christopher Renteria-Avila, 18, was driving a blue 2005 Pontiac Vibe east on Abbot Dr when he allegedly collided with Julio Estrada, 41. Estrada died from his injuries.
Authorities arrested Renteria-Avila the next day. He could face up to four years in prison if convicted.
