Crash Alert: Driver fatally collides with teen pedestrian on NE 2 in Otoe County

OTOE COUNTY, NE – A driver struck and killed an 18-year-old man on NE 2 WB near US 75 on Tuesday, according to KOLN.

The driver was heading west when they struck Harrell Jackson Jr. as Harrell was walking on the NE 2 on-ramp. Harrell was wearing dark-colored clothing at the time of the wreck.

First responders performed life-saving measures on Harrell before pronouncing him dead at the scene.

The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
