Crash Alert: Driver dies after crashing into bridge in southwestern Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, NE – A driver died after she slammed into a bridge near SW 29th St and W Panama Rd on Monday, according to KOLN.

Sharon K. Gana, 78, was driving a gray Buick Enclave on W Panama Rd when she went into a ditch and hit a part of the Spring Branch Creek Bridge around 11:30 p.m.

First responders extricated Gana and transported her to an area hospital, where she died around 1:30 a.m.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
