Crash Alert: Police investigate deadly 1-vehicle crash in downtown Lincoln
LINCOLN, NE – According to KOLN, one person died in a single-vehicle collision on O St between S 12 St and S 13th St on Saturday.
A 57-year-old man was driving a sedan east on O St when he crossed into the westbound lanes around 6:10 a.m. The man then struck a curb and slammed into a tree.
First responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
Emergency crews shut down the area to process the scene following the collision.
Officials have not released the driver’s name.
